The Connect is a nonprofit designed to emerge & retain young professionals in the state of Delaware. We do so by creating a membership/directory that allows young professionals to network, stay informed on issues that affect their everyday lives, and provide opportunities to further their career and give back to the community.
The work/life balance struggle is something every young professional can relate to. As we all juggle emerging careers, families, and friends the ONE thing we tend to neglect...is making time for ourselves.
This event comes at an essential time. We're on the latter stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, and for our educators, near the end of the school year.
We're creating a space where those that our struggling (or can provide best practices) can come together to do so. With good food, good drinks, and more importantly - great connections.
In partnership with Delaware's Department of Education, we are continuing our Educators of Color Retention series. This event will focus on self-care as a whole and will also include specific sections for educators.
This time we're coming together in-person at The WIN Factory (300 M.L.K. Jr. Blvd, Wilmington, DE 19801).
